On 2+1-dimensional fibre-reinforced fluid motions: a magnetohydrodynamics nexus

چکیده
Abstract An intrinsic geometric decomposition is applied to provide via a canonical third-order nonlinear equation connection between 2+1-dimensional fibre-reinforced motions of fluid and magnetohydrodynamic system. A Lagrange-type parametrisation introduced, whereby both algebraic properties certain non-steady may be established.

Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete
Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete is recent introduction in the field of concrete technology. The present day world is witnessing the construction of very challenging and difficult Civil Engineering Structures. Concrete being the most important and widely used material is called upon to possess very high strength and sufficient workability properties. Concrete the most widely used consrtuction ma...
متن کاملA Numerical Scheme for Multi-fluid Magnetohydrodynamics
This paper describes a numerical scheme for multi-fluid hydrodynamics in the limit of small mass densities of the charged particles. The inertia of the charged particles can then be neglected, which makes it possible to write an evolution equation for the magnetic field that can be solved using an implicit scheme. This avoids the severe restriction on the stable timestep that would otherwise ar...
متن کاملExperimental Investigations on Coir Fibre Reinforced Bituminous Mixes
The development of transportation plays an important role in the development of nation. With flexible pavements being widely used in India, steps must be taken to increase the life of the bituminous pavements. Flexible pavements are often plagued with problems of cracking and rutting due to repeated traffic loads. Hence one needs to address these problems in order to improve the performance of ...
متن کاملBiodegradable Continuous Fibre Reinforced Composites Based on Hybrid Yarns
During the last four decades the biodegradable polymers have found their place in special applications in biomedical and technical fields. [1-4] However, their worldwide production volumes are still marginal compared with non-biodegradable polymers. One of the major restricting factors for the wider use of biodegradable polymers in the field of load bearing medical devices, packaging, and consu...
متن کاملWear of ceramic-on-carbon fibre reinforced PEEK hip replacements
Total hip replacement has been a successful surgical intervention for many years. However, concerns regarding UHMWPE wear particle induced osteolysis [1], have led to alternative bearing materials to be sought. Carbon-fibre reinforced poly-ether-ether-ketone (CFR-PEEK) is a fibre-reinforced polymer which has shown reduced wear in hip and knee configurations compared with conventional polyethyle...
